Pooja for First hair cut/ Mundan/ Chandrakarna

The Chudakarana (Sanskrit: चूड़ाकरण, Cūḍākaraṇa) (literally, arrangement of the hair tuft) or the Mundana (literally, tonsure), is the eighth of the sixteen Hindu saṃskāras (sacraments), in which a child receives his/her first haircut.

According to the Grhya Sutras, this samskara should take place at the end of first year or before the expiry of the third year, but the later authorities extend the age to the seventh year. The child’s hair is shorn, frequently leaving only the śikhā or cūḍā, a tuft at the crown of the head.

Description

In tradition, the hair from birth is associated with undesirable traits from past lives. Thus at the time of themundana, the child is freshly shaven to signify freedom from the past and moving into the future. The rite is performed as a special ceremony in most homes, for young girls and boys

In this ceremony, along with cutting and shaving hair, Vedic mantras and prayers are chanted by trained priests, acharyas and rishikumaras. The child's head is shaven and the hair is then symbolically offered to the holy river Ganges. The child and his/her family then perform a sacred yajna ceremony and the Ganga Aarti.

Kaala Sarpa Dosha

Kaala Sarpa Dosh is all about faulty planetary position.

Sarpa Dosha is basically a form of Dosha (limitation in ones natal chart), that is related to the dreaded Nodes of the Moon- Rahu(North Node) and Kethu/Ketu/Kedu(South Node). When in a natal chart, all other planets from Sun- Saturn are so arranged as the extremes are dominated by Rahu and Ketu, then the native is said to suffer from Kaal Sarpa Dosha- a natural manifestation of past lives bad karmas.

Description

Rahu is considered serpent’s head and ketu is dragon’s tail. So the presence of Kaal Sarpa Yoga in an horoscope is considered particularly harmful as all the planets are surrounded by the serpent and thus loose their good impacts to a great extent which will make person less lucky, creates problems and delays in many important aspects of life.

When all the seven planets are on the same side of rahu and ketu axis and not a single planet is on the other side, the full Kaal Sarpa dosha is formed. If even a single plane is on the other side of this axis, then it is not a Kaal Sarpa Yog. In this case, partial Kaal Sarpa Yoga is formed which is a Kaal Sarpa Yog of less intensity.

Sarpa Dosha can do the following in a native.

  • Problems and breaks/obstacles in important and auspicious work.
  • Native has low Mental peace and self-confidence
  • Health deteriorates without any specific reason.
  • Wealth and property is wasted, loss of job, business and unnecessary tensions
  • Bad Relations with family members and friends
  • Treachery from friends and colleagues
  • Very less help from relatives and friends
  • Dosha can be cured and controlled by offering prayers to Lord Shiva in a particular sequence.
  • This puja is performed with ascertained results for those who suffer with marital discord, not begetting children, problems in jobs and many long-standing problems.
  • The puja is performed to neutralize the malefic effects of the planets and cut out its negative effect on the life of the individual.
  • Kaala Sarpa Pooja lasts for 30-40 minutes, and it is always better to get the pooja performed during Rahu kalam.
  • Kaal Sarpa pooja also known as Rahu Ketu Nivran Pooja is all done by chanting mantras for two metallic snake strips that represent Rahu and Ketu. Flowers and vermillion are sprinkled or proffered to the rahu ketu representing metals while the mantra is cantillated to complete the whole puja routine. Mantra recitations are also done in favour of one’s gotra, caste and janma nakshatra.
  • Our panditji can be consulted with Janma Nakshatra for confirmation of Kaal sarpa dosha and its nivaran pooja can be performed in following ways what ever is convenient:
  • Depute Panditji at your premises for performing Pooja at your home. It normally takes between 1 hour. (in person)

Bagalamukhi Pooja

This pooja is mainly performed to defeat enemy/enemies. This is considered very effective and is to be performed by atleast five specialized priests. Preferably it shall be performed in specified temples but can be performed after installation of idol in a sacred place such as our studio.

Bagalamukhi is one of the ten mahavidyas (great wisdom goddesses) in Hinduism. Bagalamukhi Devi smashes the devotee's misconceptions and delusions (or the devotee's enemies) with her cudgel. She is also known as Pitambara Maa in North India.

Description

Bagalamukhi is one of the ten forms of the wisdom goddesses, symbolising the potent female primeval force.

Bagalamukhi has a golden complexion and her dress is yellow. She sits in a golden throne in the midst of an ocean of nectar full of yellow lotuses. A crescent moon adorns her head. Two descriptions of the goddess are found in various texts- The Dwi-Bhuja (two handed), and the Chaturbhuja (Four handed).

The Dwi-Bhuja depiction is the more common, and is described as the Soumya or milder form. She holds a club in her right hand with which she beats a demon, while pulling his tongue out with her left hand. This image is sometimes interpreted as an exhibition of stambhana, the power to stun or paralyse an enemy into silence. This is one of the boons for which Bagalamukhi’s devotees worship her. Other Mahavidya goddesses are also said to represent similar powers useful for defeating enemies, to be invoked by their worshippers through various rituals.

Bagalamukhi is also called Pitambaradevi or Brahmastra Roopini and she turns each thing into its opposite. She turns speech into silence, knowledge into ignorance, power into impotence, defeat into victory.

This pooja is our speciality and you can surely get benefited. Large number of people who are spending lot of money in court cases can also use this method to use power of Bagalamukhi for defeating enemy/enemies.

This pooja takes 5 days full time very learned Pandits. In view of that it becomes a bit expensive but very effective.

We can perform Baglamukhi Pooja for you as per following

  • We can perform Baglamukhi pooja in our studio on your behalf and you can watch online.
  • We can perform Baglamukhi pooja offline on your behalf with your photo.

Shrisuktam ( Lakshmi Pooja)

Śrī Sūktam is a Sanskrit devotional hymn revering the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity and fertility. Śrī Sūktam is recited, with a strict adherence to the Chandas, to invoke the goddess' blessings. The hymns are found in the Rig Vedic khilanis

Description

The Śrī Sūkta describes Śrī as glorious, ornamented, royal, lustrous as gold, and radiant as fire, moon and the sun. She is addressed as the bestower of fame, bounty and abundance in the form of gold, cattle, horses and food; and entreated to banish her sister alakṣmī (misfortune), who is associated with need, hunger, thirst and poverty. The hymn also associates Śrī with (agrarian) fertility and she is described as the mother of Kārdama (mud), moist, perceptible through odour, dwelling in cowdung and producing abundant harvest.

The Śrī Sūkta uses the motifs of lotus (padma or kamala) and elephant (gaja) – symbols that are consistently linked with the goddess Śrī-Lakṣmī in later references. The lotus is thought to be symbolic of purity, beauty, spiritual power, life, fertility, growth or, in Tantra, the entire created universe. It is a recurring motif in Hindu (as well asBuddhist and Jain) literature and a lotus growing from Viṣṇu's navel is said to mark the beginning of a new cosmic creation. The elephants are symbolic of royalty and, in Hindu mythology, are also related with cloud and rain; they thus reinforce Śrī-Lakṣmī's stature as the goddess of abundance and fertility.

Later Hindu iconography often represents Śrī-Lakṣmī in the form of Gaja-Lakṣmī, standing on a lotus, flanked by two elephants that are shown showering her with water with their trunks.

The Śrī Sūktam assumes specific significance because of Śrī Mahālakṣmī's presence on Lord Śrī Venkaṭeśvara, at Tirumala, or Viṣṇu's chest, at the Heart. Lakṣmi is the embodiment of Love, from which devotion to God or Bhakti flows. It is through Love/Bhakti or Lakṣmī that the Ātmā or soul is able to reach God or Viṣṇu.Śrī or Lakṣmī is also the personification of the spiritual energy within us and universe called kuṇḍalinī. Also, She embodies the Spiritual World or Vaikuṇtha; the abode of Lakṣmī-Nārāyaṇa or Viṣṇu, not to be confused with Heaven, as The Heavenly Planets are still part of the Material Universe. Vaikuṇtha-Dham is purely spiritual, eternal and self illuminating. She is also supposed to have the Divine qualities of God and the soul. Lakshmi is God's superior spiritual feminine energy or the Param Prākṛti, which purifies, empowers and uplifts the individual. Hence, She is called the Goddess of Fortune.

Our Panditji can perform this pooja and path. This homam is very helpful for prosperity in the family. As Godess Lakshmi is considered devi of wealth, this pooja is performed for removal of hurdles in business or for getting promotion and improving health of business. This pooja is performed with a Havan on wood of Bela and cow ghee with a recital of Srisukta. It normally takes 2 to 3 hours. This pooja can be performed as per following:

  • Depute Panditji at your premises for performing Srisuktam pooja at your home. It normally takes approximately 2 hours.
  • We can perform Srisuktam pooja in our studio on your behalf and you can watch online.
  • We can perform Srisuktam pooja offline on your behalf with your photo.

Sri Satya Naryan Pooja

Satya means “truth” and narayana means “The highest being” so Satyanarayan means “The highest being who is an embodiment of Truth”. The Satyanarayana Vratam and Puja are very popular in India. This is simplest pooja which is performed for success in any auspicious work. Even start of marriage is performed with Satyanarayan pooja.

Description

This puja is first mentioned in Skanda Purana, Reva Kanda by Suta Puranik to the rishis in Naimisharanya. The details are part of the Katha/”Story” that is usually read along with the puja.

This puja is usually performed on the Purnima day of every month. It is also performed on special occasions and during times of achievements as an offering of gratitude to the Lord. These occasions could include marriage, graduation, start of a new job, and the purchase of a new home to name a few. In addition, the performance of this most auspicious puja generally confers a child to couples trying to start a family.

The Satyanarayan puja can be performed on any day except on New-Moon. It is not a puja confined to any festivities, but Purnima (full moon day) is considered specifically auspicious for this puja. Performing this puja in the evening is considered more appropriate. However one can perform this puja in the morning as well.

The puja starts by a prayer to Gaṇeśa, to remove all obstacles that may occur as a result of incorrectly performing the puja. This is done by chanting all the names of Lord Gaṇeśa and offering prasāda (a food offering, usually consisting of one of Lord Gaṇeśa's favorite foods - modak, a sugar and coconut mixture, or laddu) and the showering of flower petals.

Another part of the prayer involves a prayer to the Navagraha's - the nine important celestial beings in the universe. They consist of Sūrya - Sun, Chandra - Moon, Aṅgāraka - Mars, Budha - Mercury, Bṛihaspati - Jupiter, Śukra - Venus, Śani - Saturn, Rāhu - North Node as the head of Svarbhānu, and Ketu - South Node as the body including the tail of Svarbhānu.

The rest of the puja consists of worship to Satya Nārāṇaya, an extremely benevolent form of Viṣṇu. First "pañcamṛtam" is used to clean the place where the deity is placed. After placing the deity in the correct position, Satya-Nārāṇaya Svāmī is worshipped. Names of Satya Nārāṇaya are chanted along with offering of a variety of prasāda (including a mixture of milk, honey, ghee/butter, yogurt, sugar) and flower petals.

Another requirement of the puja is that the story of the puja be heard among all those observing and partaking in the puja. The story involves the origin of the puja, the benefits of it, and the potential mishaps that may occur with the forgetting performance of the puja.

The prayer concludes with an Āratīka, which consists of revolving a small fire-lit-lamp in the vicinity of an image of the Lord. After the puja is over, participants and observers of the puja are required to ingest in the prasāda that was offered and blessed by the Lord.

This puja is simple and can be performed by our Panditji. Some people believe that this pooja can be performed without a priest. But God is required to be established( Aavahan) and after the pooja a farewell to God( visrjan) is required in proper sense. To perform pooja with full sacred way pooja can be performed in following ways:

  • Depute Panditji at your premises for performing Sri Satyanarayan pooja at your home. It normally takes between 2 to 3 hours.
  • We can perform Sri Satyanarayan pooja in our studio on your behalf and you can watch online.
  • We can perform Sri Satyanarayan pooja offline on your behalf with your photo.

Maha Sarswati Pooja

Saraswati (Sanskrit: सरस्वती, Sarasvatī) is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and learning. She is a part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. All the three forms help the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva to create, maintain and regenerate-recycle the Universe respectively.

Description

The earliest known mention of Saraswati as a goddess is in Rigveda. Some Hindus celebrate the festival of Vasant Panchami (the fifth day of spring) in her honour and mark the day by helping young children learn how to write alphabets on that day. The Goddess is also revered by believers of the Jain religion of west and centralIndia as well as some Buddhist sects.

Saraswati as a goddess of knowledge, music and arts is also found outside India, such as in Japan, Vietnam, Bali (Indonesia) and Myanmar.

Saraswati, sometimes spelled Sarasvati, is a Sanskrit fusion word of Sara (सार) which means essence, and Sva (स्व)which means one self, the fused word meaning "essence of one self", and Saraswati meaning "one who leads to essence of self knowledge". It is also a Sanskrit composite word of surasa-vati (सुरस-वति) which means "one with plenty of water".

The goddess Saraswati is often depicted as a beautiful woman dressed in pure white, often seated on a white lotus, which symbolizes light, knowledge and truth.[23] She not only embodies knowledge but also the experience of the highest reality. Her iconography is typically in white themes from dress to flowers to swan – the colour symbolizing Sattwa Guna or purity, discrimination for true knowledge, insight and wisdom.

She is generally shown to have four arms, but sometimes just two. When shown with four hands, those hands symbolically mirror her husband Brahma's four heads, representing manas (mind, sense), buddhi (intellect, reasoning), citta (imagination, creativity) and ahamkara (self consciousness, ego).Brahma represents the abstract, she action and reality.

The four hands hold items with symbolic meaning — a pustaka (book or script), a mala (rosary, garland), a water pot and a musical instrument (lute or vina). The book she holds symbolizes the Vedas representing the universal, divine, eternal, and true knowledge as well as all forms of learning. A mālā of crystals, representing the power of meditation, inner reflection and spirituality. A pot of water represents powers to purify the right from wrong, the clean from unclean, and the essence from the misleading. In some texts, the pot of water is symbolism for soma - the drink that liberates and leads to knowledge. The musical instrument, typically a veena, represents all creative arts and sciences and her holding it symbolizes expressing knowledge that creates harmony. Saraswati is also associated with anurāga, the love for and rhythm of music, which represents all emotions and feelings expressed in speech or music.

A hansa / hans or swan is often located next to her feet. In Hindu mythology, hans is a sacred bird, which if offered a mixture of milk and water, is said to be able to drink the milk alone. It thus symbolizes discrimination between the good from the bad, the essence from the superficial, the eternal from the evanescent.Due to her association with the swan, Saraswati is also referred to as Hansvahini, which means "she who has a hansa / hans as her vehicle". The swan is also a symbolism for spiritual perfection, transcendence and moksha.

Sometimes a citramekhala (also called mayura, peacock) is shown beside the goddess. The peacock symbolizes colorful splendor, celebration of dance, and peacock's ability to eat poison (snakes) yet transmute from it a beautiful plumage

She is usually depicted near a flowing river or near a water body, which may be related to her early history as a river goddess.
